CableOrganizer.com Tip: Do you want to paint your wire duct so that it matches the decor of your home? Here are some tips for prepping your wiring duct before painting it with latex paint, courtesy of Panduit:
Clean cable raceway with mild soap and water or mineral spirits with a clean lint free towel. Allow to dry.Using a sanding pad (such as, synthetic stripping pad or medium/fine steel wool), slightly roughen the surface.Apply a coat of all-purpose 100 percent Acrylic primer and let dry.Apply top coat of latex paint and let dry.Install the wiring duct/cable raceway.
