For use of an outdoor conduit aboveground, PVC is an affordable option. In order to prevent cracking from direct sunlight, the PVC conduit should also be painted with a protective seal. An industrial-strength conduit bender can be used with PVC, making rapid and accurate bends for necessary curves around objects.
